San Felipe Neri trounces Jaime Cardinal Sin Learning Center in NBC Inter-High

San Felipe Neri Catholic School outpoised and outscored Jaime Cardinal Sin Learning Center in the second period to eke out a 94-49 triumph and booked a ticket in the crossover knockout semifinal phase in the Manila leg of the inaugural National Basketball Championship (NBC) Inter-High at the Amoranto Stadium in Quezon City.

The SFNCS cagers got their offense going in the second period, scoring from all corners to stretch a close 16-12 first-period lead to a huge 48-24 margin at halftime.

San Felipe never relinquished the double-digit advantage and joined Holy Trinity Academy and UAAP reigning junior champion Far Eastern University in the Final Four slated on Thursday (Oct.19) at the same venue.

Jared Cruz led San Felipe with a double-double performance -- 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Shaun Rei Severo and Jose Gonzales chipped in 17 and 13 points, respectively.
