ARWIND Santos played limited minutes, but his presence was enough to cheer the crowd and lift the spirits of Pampanga Giant Lanterns to thwart Marikina Shoemasters, 82-70, on Friday and moved to within a win of advancing to the semifinal round of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) at the Gov. Bren Z Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando Pampanga.
Santos, who was just recently named Commissioner of the National Basketball Championship (NBC) Inter-High tournament organized by Jam Sports, scored four points, six rebounds and 1 block in 13 minutes of play.
