March 19, 2023 - Jams Artist audition for upcoming noon time show of “Lakbay Jams.” Director Mr. Gary Lim was the one who pored over the abilities and potential of each Jams Artist through a one on one interview and acting out the role with no script to be given in order to be part of the show- Impromptu.
The setting style of searching for an artist for the noontime show was explicitly explained by the director of the show using an Impromptu instructing. Gary Lim shared his thoughts that, “The artist can speak spontaneously without any scripts, hosting has a vital role for this show. It is easy for an artist to come up and be part of the project especially I have seen many artists here that have characteristics as an explorer at their young age already ”, Gary Lim shared his thoughts.
There were 19 Jams artists auditioned for the segment of the noontime show , Mhiyuki Lee Saunar, Precious Angel Simbulan, Jasmine Tuazon, Alodia Margarette B. Castillo, Ysabelle M. Palabrica, Merianne Gabriel Dekit, Mary Angeline Magnaye, Daniel Kerron Gonzales, Fiona Ellise Pakingan, Nigel Primo Pakinggan, Frinces Mirah Joy Dia, Ma. Sabrina Sablan, Regina Johann S. Ilano, Robin Padilla, Kate Hillary Tamani, Bryce Nicolo Mercader, Thania Nevea Nugas, Kiko Antonio and Kathleen Pae.
The moment of the said audition literally will see the faces of numerous artists that are well prepared to take the spot for an opportunity towards their wants to be on screen. However the eagerness to be part of it, visibly seen their passion endeavoring to be on screen TV.
Ysabelle Palabrica on interviews thought after her audition, “ It's an honor and I am happy for having here as one of the Jams Artist showcasing endeavors to be part of Showbiz world , even though I am a shy type of person I am doing all my best to strive my passion.”
The task given to all artists as per the viewers , emphasized usually more on hosting the clarity of pronunciation, the constructions of Idea must be substantial and ability to think quickly in a very short period of time. “The artist should talk spontaneously,” Gary Lim says.
The Director added “It's good to hear and watch someone on screen TV who knows his/her role. You have already seen different artists on TV how they propose or portray themselves as hosts. Sometimes while you are washing dishes in the kitchen when you hear the voice of Toni Gonzaga, you can easily guess who she is , why ? There is something in her or his that marks on your mind. My point is if you are one to be like them or an artist create your own version or style that is gonna get the viewers attention , out of your comfort zone, don’t be scared to get out from the shell you are in , explore and create your own version in space that you have seen your future.”
A clear-sighted thought shares Direk Gary Lim inspired Jams Artist to become a professional artist as their endeavor to be in entertainment.
Mayor of Bingawan Iloilo Mark Plagata Palabrica shares his thoughts about the environment he observed for audition of his daughter - Ysabell Palabrica. “This corporation is organized, not a typical platform or a center that focuses on one pillar but it is a combination of corporations where artists have a chance to play and expose their potential in different genres of entertainment . It is really good for those who wanted to be a celebrity or artist someday , it aims I thought to help the youth to expose their talents , since we’ve been 2 years stuck up from pandemic this will be a good call for those who endeavors in showbiz Industry.”
