JAMS Top Model Philippines: Season 4 Category 1 Grand Winner Alyanah Riche Casimiro of Quezon Province reveals her prep journey towards the crown.

Alyanah Riche Manipol Casimiro was born on August 8, 2011 in Tayabas City, Quezon Province. This 11 year old lady is currently a Grade 6 student of Mauban South Central Elementary School. She’s the eldest among the three and the unica hija.

She began modeling at the age of five. Mostly, described by her family and friends as a shy and timid girl. However, when she’s in modeling mode, her confidence skyrockets, poise turns different and grace flows all over the runway.

1. What was the experience of winning the title of grand winner in the 4th season of Jams Top Model Philippines?

-Winning the title of this prestigious competition and becoming the grand winner of the 4th season of JAMS TOP MODEL PHILIPPINES in category 1 was indeed a great experience and an answered prayer for me. A great experience because many could join in a contest but only a few had the opportunity to reach this national level.

It was an answered prayer, though everyone had asked for God’s guidance to win, God’s graces showered on me that my prayer to win was granted. It was like a fairy tale, it was like magic that comes to reality.

2. What are your preparations for your journey to the grand gala?

-First, I stayed focused and set my mind on this competition. Secondly, my mother and I set priorities. I have a list of activities and schedules for when these things would be done. We had an arrangement of time to manage my schooling and training with my coach. After school, during weekends and holidays, I did a lot of training. Of course, sleeping and resting, proper diet was considered to stay fit and healthy. We set my wardrobe and pageant shoes for the coronation.

More to this, I did a lot of research to improve, to walk confidently on stage and be better, I watched videos about modeling, and more importantly, our family prayed together for His guidance.

3. What was your reaction when your name was called as the Grand Winner of your category?

-Honestly, my heart beats fast as if I have reached the finish line. It was an unexplainable feeling when my number was mentioned together with the province. At that moment, I can’t believe what I heard because all my competitors were all great, but in that instance, I felt grateful to God that I won.

4. Who do you want to thank for your recent win?

-First and foremost, I am grateful to God because He allowed all these things to happen to me. I am thankful because He is the source of all that I have my skills and talents. Secondly, I thanked my family who granted me to join in this endeavour. They provided me with all the necessary kinds of stuff and supported me throughout the contest.

Thirdly, my relatives, friends, classmates, teachers, Maubanins, the LGUs who granted financial support, and Quezonians as well, trusted me and believed that I could win and be the grand winner. Lastly, my team (coach, trainers, videographer, and make-up artist) because they keep inspiring me that can bring home the crown.

5. As the Grand Winner of Jams Top Model Philippines Season 4, what advocacies are you planning to promote and support?

-It is always said that "Youth is the hope of the nation, a future builder". As the Grand winner of JAMS Top Model Philippines Season 4, I would like to advocate for YOUTH EMPOWERMENT such as lobbying for policies that support youth development, promoting youth-led initiatives and programs, and working with schools and organizations to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and lead.

Because as a youth, I also want to ensure that we have a voice in the decisions that affect our lives and that we are empowered to take action on issues that matter to us. By working together, advocates and young people can create a brighter future for all and be a productive member of the society that carries our own culture, traditions, and nationalism.

6. What's your message to aspiring models and people who look up to you?

-To aspiring models and people who look up to me, I would advise them not to stop believing in things they can achieve and keep aiming for success, because, with God’s graces and guidance, any impossible things can be made possible.

They only have to stay focused, be positive, and work hard for it. As I always say, “Let your dreams be your wings to soar high”. This influenced me a lot and led me to the goal of winning.

Saying or quote that is close to your heart

-"LET YOUR DREAMS BE YOUR WINGS TO SOAR HIGH"

Just like any other's dream, it does not become a reality through magic. A dream becomes the basis to pursue and work hard. It is the guide and motivation to do best and strive for the dream a person wishes to become someday.

There’s no limited age in pursuing dreams and Alyanah is the best example of it. She made every way that seems difficult possible thus proving that determination and confidence is the key to success.
