JBTC Players on 3x3 Tournament show off agility as an athlete

JBTC Players impressed the audience by their own level of stamina and energy, quick decision passing the ball strategies to its own co-players.


Jams Basketball Training Camp held its first 3x3 Tournament at Aero Center Basketball Court, last February 19, 2023. As of 11:35 in the morning,the oath of sportsmanship was led by Jams Basketball Training Camp Coach, Jopet Quiro.


The said tournament Apple David, spotted as side Reporter close-by Scottie Thompson of Barangay Ginebra and Jason Castro of TNT Tropang Giga to lead the ceremonial toss.


TJ Washington appears to give advice, tips and strategies on how to win any tournament ,yet Scottie Thompson shares three things on what to always keep in mind as an athlete to win the game.

“We’re truly honored ni Kuya Jason Castro na maging part nitong event nyo, andito kami to inspire the youth, basta lagi niyong tatandaan magkaroon “Faith kay Lord pag naglalaro, Discipline, and Hardwork”, Scottie Thompson added.


Adult, Teens, and Kids divisions looks-refined competed in each category, the eagerness of the players from Luzon, Visayas , Mindanao is in their face to be Basketball Superstar.

The 3x3 Jams Basketball Tournament Host Apple David announced Winners,1st runner up, and mythical players, MVP(Most Valuable Player)per category,together on the side of JBTC player Jopet Quiro and TJ Washington congratulating each player.

King Nathaniel Bermejo #7, Jarred Griffin #23, Allen Gatdula #31.While team of Kyle Siasat #23, William Thirdy Borja #28 and Josef Angelo Contreras #15 placed as 1st runner up in the kids division. However, Allen Gatdula hailed as MVP, Most Valuable Player.Three mythical kids are Alex Pena, Allen Gatdula, Joseph Manalo Contreras.


Marick Lanasa, Marcus Payaoan, Winmark Alvar, John Partrick Gatdula #07. Followed by the team of Christian Carpio, Ricky Derona, Martin Jaca,Kenjie Cao received a medal and award for Champion Teens Division. Yet, 3 mythical teens Leory Villanueva, the level of stamina, countless moves visibly, Christian Carpio and Marick Lanasa also effortlessly impart their critical thinking skills and potentials in the field to make their team survive, and be on it to the finals towards performing excellent skilled in the field of Basketball.


Team of Stephen Wayne Flores, Iyrill Kevin Ambrosio and John Russell Hernandez placed as 1st runner up at the same time, courtside reporter Apple David announced the adult division victory spot goes to the team of Selwyn Flores, Michael Angelo Santos, Francis Santiago and Neil Patrick Batarao.


As the same as the category,Adult Mythical 3 are Michael Angelo Santos, Stephen Wayne Flores, and Selwyn Flores.


As per the interview of Apple David to Gatdula,“Ano yung mga improvements na natutunan mo from the training camp na nagamit mo?

“Mas natuto po ako sa shooting, Dribbling,at nadagdagan po yung confidence level ko” Gatdula answered. It is evident that Gatdula deserved to be in Mythical 3 for kids and hailed as MVP or Most Valuable Player showing off his will in playing 3x3 tournament for the Kids Category.


Angelo Contreras previous interview said that, “I learned a lot, and I found a new set of friends in the camp and masaya po ako sa mga coaches ko na tinuruan nya kami”. Nevertheless both teams have the same length of quality, will and determination is supposedly seen, Otherwise the audience felt astonished by their unique performance.


White Teams had won from the teens’ Category, Christian Carpio together with their team has had excellently evaluated plan to get points in very short period of time,


The last seconds of the game, he could not even expect that his free throw would be in, the focus mentality of Carpio has is literally a mindset of a basketball player as Ricky Deroña shows his resemblance of an athletic well-observant to the opponent's movements.

According to Jamsap Basketball Training Camp coach Jopet Quiro “this is not the final show to be seen on screen, otherwise it is just a drill to inspire other youth in Basketball.” However Danny Espiritu shared his thought, “Basketball is a career”, that’s why a player who is aiming towards the Professional league should possess passion and discipline, and avoid inappropriate habits as an athlete.
